About the Product
Sogi, universally known in classical Unani texts as Kishmish or Zabib (specifically designating the seedless, elongated golden-green dried berries), consists of the sun-dried ripe fruit of selected cultivars of Vitis vinifera of the Vitaceae family. In Greco-Arabic medicine, Sogi holds an esteemed status as an easily assimilated noble whole-food nutrient and restorative, classified as having a Hot and Moist (Garm-o-Tar, 1st degree; balanced in heat with rich innate moisture) temperament. Esteemed across centuries as a superior producer of pure, wholesome blood (Kheemus Saleh), it replenishes innate bodily fluids (Rutoobat-e-Ghariziyya), strengthens the primary vital organs (Aza-e-Raeesa), softens the chest and throat, and sweeps away residual visceral sluggishness.
