Roghan Gul (Rose Oil) is a classical Unani medicated formulation manufactured by Dawakhana Hakim Ajmal Khan. This oil is prepared by infusing the essence of Rosa damascena (Fresh Roses) into a base of Sesame Oil (Roghan-e-Kunjad). It is one of the most widely used "cold" oils in Greco-Arabic medicine.
In Unani philosophy, Roghan Gul is renowned for its Mubarrid (Cooling) and Musakkin (Soothing) properties. It is specifically designed to counteract disorders caused by excessive internal heat and "Safra" (Yellow Bile). It is the premier external remedy for hot-weather headaches, burning sensations on the scalp or skin, and inflammatory ear conditions.
