Hab-e-Muqil

Hab-e-Muqil is a time-tested classical Unani preparation manufactured by Dawakhana Hakim Ajmal Khan, specifically designed to treat various types of hemorrhoids (piles) and chronic digestive sluggishness. The pill is named after its chief ingredient, Muqil (Commiphora Wightii), also known as Guggul.

In Unani medicine, Muqil is celebrated as a powerful Muhallil (Resolvent) and Musaffi (Purifier). It works by softening and dissolving hemorrhoidal masses and reducing inflammation in the rectal area. Combined with Halela (Terminalia Chebula), it ensures a smooth bowel movement, addressing the root cause of piles—chronic constipation. The addition of Clarified Butter and Pearl Shell ensures the treatment is gentle on the intestinal lining while providing an astringent effect to stop bleeding.
