About the Product
Beej Band, botanically designated as Sida cordifolia (Country Mallow / Bala) of the Malvaceae family, consists of the small, smooth, dark brown-to-black seeds harvested from a perennial subshrub native to the plains and tropical regions of South Asia. In Unani and Greco-Arabic medicine, Beej Band holds an authoritative rank among the master retentive and restorative drugs and is classified as having a Cold and Moist (Barid-o-Tar, 1st to 2nd degree; balanced in heat with strong unctuous properties) temperament. Highly celebrated for its natural mucilage, binding virtue, and tonic (Muqawwi) properties, its name literally signifies "the binder/locker of seeds" (Band-e-Mani). It acts as an indispensable botanical for increasing the density of seminal fluid, consolidating pelvic tone, soothing inflamed urinary passages, and nourishing depleted nervous faculties.
