About the Product
Jang Hareer, also known in classical texts as Hareer Siyah or Halela Zard's immature harvest, is botanically designated as Terminalia chebula of the Combretaceae family. It represents the small, seedless, unripe fruit harvested before the internal stony stone (pit) forms, which dries into a shriveled, deeply ridged, jet-black botanical. In Unani and Greco-Arabic medicine, Jang Hareer is celebrated as one of the paramount detoxifying and alterative herbs and is classified as having a Cold and Dry (Barid-o-Yabis, 1st to 2nd degree) temperament. Esteemed across centuries as a cornerstone of the classical "Atrifalat" formulations, it possesses unmatched astringent (Qabiz), brain-purging (Munaqqi-e-Dimagh), and ocular-strengthening virtues. It is particularly valued for sweeping away turbid gastric vapors (Bukharaat-e-Meda) that rise to weaken memory, eyesight, and cranial clarity.
