About the Product
Mazu Sabz, botanically known as Quercus infectoria and commonly referred to as Oak Galls or Gallnuts, are specialized growths found on the twigs of the Aleppo Oak tree. These galls are formed when a specific type of gall wasp lays its eggs in the tree's buds. In Unani and Greco-Arabic medicine, Mazu is legendary for its incredibly high concentration of tannins (nearly 50-70%). Classified as having a "Cold and Dry" (Barid-o-Yabis) temperament in the third degree, it is considered the most powerful natural astringent available, used for centuries to tighten tissues and stop abnormal discharge.
