Laooq Nazli

Laooq Nazli is a specialized classical Unani formulation manufactured by Dawakhana Hakim Ajmal Khan, specifically engineered to combat persistent respiratory conditions. The name "Nazli" is derived from the Arabic word "Nazla" (Catarrh/Cold), signifying its role as a premier remedy for upper respiratory tract issues.

In Unani medicine, a "Laooq" is a semi-solid, lickable preparation (linctus) designed to be absorbed slowly. This formulation features a high concentration of mucilaginous herbs like Khatmi, Behidana, and Gond Katira, combined with the soothing power of Liquorice and the calming effect of Khashkhash. It is specifically designed to dry up excessive nasal discharge, soothe an irritated throat, and clear the head of the "morbid vapors" that cause chronic colds and heaviness.
