The Department of Eastern Medicine tours the Dawakhana Hakim Ajmal Khan Production Faculty.

Dawakhana Hakim Ajmal Khan Factory in Kotlakpat, Lahore was visited by students and faculty members of Superior University’s Department of Eastern Medicine on May 9, 2023. Ajmal Khan Dawakhana is a leading brand that provides Unani medication in Pakistan through several matabs and retail outlets. It was an opportunity for students to learn about the advancements in herbal product production and manufacturing. A total of 30 students participated in the visit under the supervision of Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Idrees Khan.

Additionally, the trip gave instructors and students an invaluable chance to learn about the operations of the herbal medicine sector, get knowledge of current trends, and keep up with new advancements. The staff of Dawakhana Hakim Ajmal Khan answered queries and participated in debates regarding the important place of herbal medicine in contemporary healthcare.
