Oak Galls:

Mazo Sabz (Oak Galls) is the outgrowth of the tree, Aleppo Oak (Quercus infectoria) native of Greece, Asia Minor, Syria, and Iran. Mazo Sabz is also known as Manjakani and Majuphal. Studies showed its properties of antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, pain-relieving, skin lightening, anti-venom, and anti-amoebic activities. It is mainly used for the treatment of female reproductive system problems. When the vagina loses its elasticity, this herb helps in tightening the vaginal muscles. It is also helpful for the abnormalities related to female reproductive organs such as fallopian tube blockage, ovaries, uterus or womb-related issues, vulva, mammary glands, vagina, and breasts.

In Unani Medicinal System, it is used in the treatment of piles, diarrhea, small Intestine disease, oral diseases, dysentery, dental disorders, vaginal tumor, and leucorrhoea. The smelly vaginal discharge can also be treated with the help of this herb. It also alleviates leucorrhoea symptoms and prevents uterine prolapse. It protects female sexual organs from fungal and bacterial infections. Oak Galls also helps in the production of estrogen.

Note: Don’t use Oak Galls (Mazo Sabz) during menses and pregnancy because it may lead to miscarriage.
